Google Analytics Snapshot

The trend in gen-pop surveys over the past few years shows the percentage of completions done on mobile devices has been steadily increasing (5-10% more annually over the past 3 years). We currently see between 45-60% completion via mobile devices on our average genpop panel sample study. Customer supplied genpop sample (users/customers) tends to be about 10% lower on mobile. And finally for business surveys which are still primarily done in offices or at home, we see these are mostly still done on computers (maybe 5-6% on mobile).

We regret to inform clients and users that for the first time in 22 years, our datacenter ISP has a major outage so surveys & the reporting portal are offline. This company website is hosted elsewhere.

We will inform you when service returns.

In  flash of insight, I realized that what we do isn't always data science but rather data alchemy - turning base materials into something of far greater value.

Unlike the medieval alchemist trying to convert lead into gold, we convert raw numbers, divergent data into something of value, something you can base a decision on.

While I'd like to claim originality here, a quick Google search tells me quite a few others have come to the same conclusion and the term is bandied about in several industries.

Oh well, we will make the term our own. Time to get brewing the next batch of gold.

 Not the future I envisioned.
